The Garage distinguishes itself as one of the most architecturally significant adaptive-reuse venues in the Middle East: STUFISH transformed a former multi-storey carpark in the heart of Riyadh into the Middle East's largest start-up incubator, with the building wrapped in an aluminum ribbed façade that gives the illusion of motion. Located on the main campus of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, the venue spans 28,000 square meters, giving event organizers access to a genuinely large-scale, industrially distinctive setting rather than a conventional hotel ballroom or conference center. The structure consists of three levels and is designed around a central car ramp that has been activated to give additional programme and meeting spaces, with the original upper parking level transformed into an exhibition area made from a lightweight steel structure, and the lower-level basement housing sleeping pods and additional breakout zones.
For organizers planning large conferences, product launches, or corporate summits, The Garage offers exceptional built-in infrastructure: 24 state-of-the-art meeting rooms and an expansive event space hosting over 1,000 individuals, alongside dedicated workshop areas and an exhibition centre. Materially, the venue retains a raw, industrial character — exposed steel, ribbed aluminum cladding, and the preserved bones of its original parking-structure form — creating an atmospheric, tech-forward backdrop that has already hosted more than 40 events with over 3,500 attendees, including partners, investors, and industry experts, and has forged partnerships with organizations like Google and the National Center for Information Technology Development. While not designed as a traditional wedding venue, The Garage is exceptionally well suited to tech conferences, hackathons, product launches, startup weekends, and large-scale networking events seeking a bold, innovation-driven setting with genuine scale and a strong architectural story.
