Overview
Sohum Wellness Sanctuary is a contemporary holistic retreat in Dubai designed to merge ancient Ayurvedic philosophy with modern wellness architecture. Conceived as a serene sanctuary in the dynamic Al Quoz district, the property offers a tranquil environment where guests can disconnect from the cityโs pace and reconnect with balance and wellbeing. Founded by wellness practitioner Tanya S. Mansotra, the venue focuses on integrative healing through yoga, Ayurvedic therapies, meditation, sound healing, and curated wellness journeys. The sanctuaryโs concept revolves around harmonizing mind, body, and spirit through carefully designed therapeutic environments and spiritual experiences.
The spatial layout blends indoor and outdoor environments through gardens, cabanas, treatment rooms, yoga studios, and wellness spaces connected by calm transitional areas. Architectural materials such as stone cladding, natural textures, and expansive glass openings create a seamless connection between interior spaces and landscaped gardens centered around symbolic elements like the โTree of Life.โ Lighting is intentionally soft and atmospheric to support meditation and wellness rituals, while treatment rooms and therapy areas are individually designed around elemental themes such as earth, sun, fire, and air. Several roomsโincluding the Karma room equipped with projector and presentation facilitiesโcan host workshops, corporate wellness programs, sound healing sessions, or intimate gatherings, making the sanctuary suitable for small corporate retreats, wellness events, and private celebrations.ย
